Goal
The primary goal was to develop packaging and a logo that effectively showcased the workshop’s handcrafted wooden bowls and various artisanal crafts while embodying an original and nature-inspired aesthetic. To achieve this, the design process began with in-depth research into materials that reflect sustainability and organic textures. The packaging is thoughtfully designed to evoke a sense of being rooted in nature, using eco-friendly materials and textures that resonate with the earthy beauty of the products inside. The logo embodies the essence of Timber, featuring an organic shape.
Timber aims to create an inviting experience that not only showcases its products but also tells a story of craftsmanship and a deep respect for the environment.
Challenge
Timber faced the challenge of designing packaging that not only conveyed warmth but also fostered a deep conncection with nature, reflecting the craftsmanship behind its handcrafted wooden bowls. The client emphasized the importance of creting a packaging design that demonstrated their artisanal skills while resonating with sonsumers on a emotional level. To achieve this, a thoguthful balance of earthy colors was essential, as well as a mood that highlighted the organic beauty of the products.
Additionally, clear communication with the photographer was critical; specific guidance was provided regarding the types of shots needed.
